چکیده
Background Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) involves a set of chronic arthritis onset in childhood. JIA can be splitted into 7 categories based on the classification International League Associations for Rheumatology (ILAR): systemic arthritis, oligoarthritis, rheumatoid factor (RF) negative polyarthritis, RF positive enthesitis related psoriatic undifferentiated arthritis. In addition to this classification, some authors propose differentiating between patients who have (+) and (-) ANA serum because there could differences these two subgroups, raising possibility homogenizing subtypes 1 . Objectives To describe variability extra-articular manifestations, treatment prevalence different serum. Methods Cross-sectional descriptive study 68 with according ILAR criteria visited transitional consultation Spanish tertiary-level hospital. Clinical features, analytical data were collected, divided ANA+ or ANA- A >1/80 title determined by IFI at least 2 occasions was considered positive. Subsequently, qualitative analyzed using Chi-Square test, means compared ANOVA analysis. Results included study. 33 grouped 35 ANA+. The group composed 28 women (80%) made up 18 (54.44%) (p= n.s.). mean age diagnosis 11 years old 9 group. (8.57%), as it (18.18% 0% ANA+), both Uveitis, psoriasis use corticosteroid patients, but without reaching statistical significance. Conclusion our study, literature, oligoarticular type occurred frequently group, while Although patterns uveitis appear differ groups we did not find significant difference. This due small number included, that corrected if sample expanded. Reference [1] Ravelli A, Varnier GC, Oliveira S, Castell E, Arguedas O, Magnani et al. Rheum. 2011;63(1):267–75. She presented at the age of 7 years with a 6 week history of painful arthritis involving both ankles, knees, left elbow and left middle PIP joints. Subsequently there was progression to include wrists, TMJs, with erosive disease in both hips and ankles, and intermittent wheelchair use. She was treated with 15–20 mg/m2 of Methotrexate, tried on full dose Etanercept for 12 months, then Infliximab...
متن کاملClinical significance of anticardiolipin antibodies in juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
OBJECTIVE Anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL) have been demonstrated in a large spectrum of autoimmune diseases. However, its occurrence in childhood, in particular in juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), is not well established. The present study addressed the frequency and clinical significance of aCL in a group of JIA patients. METHODS aCL (IgG and IgM isotypes), antinuclear antibodies (ANA),...
